How to get Kalibo from Caticlan?

Our plane from Kalibo to Manila is at 11:00AM.

So I wonder what time should I leave Boracay?

And when and where should I buy the ticket?

Ask the front desk personnel of the resort your staying to arrange the transfer for your. The biggest company for transfers to the various airports is ';Star Express%26#39; and the other one is ';Southwest Tours';. They pick you up and deliver you in time in the airport.

But you have to remember the 10kg limit on check-in baggage for flights to/from Caticlan Airport.

They really need to expand that runway and do up the airport sooner.

Woops, should have read Bills thread first before my previous reply, seems PAL Express allow 15kg to Caticlan which is fairly reasonable.

Still, most international passengers from US or Europe are more likely to have closer to 20kg... if not going to Boracay, certainly when leaving

If you%26#39;d rather avoid the hotel%26#39;s charges for special transfers, you can just proceed to Caticlan and take an L300 minivan to Kalibo. It%26#39;s simple enough. They wait outside the jetty port.

But I assume I will get up at 7 AM that day...

I am afraid there will be no ferry to the Caticlan so early...

leave hotel at 6am, one hour to Caticlan, 2 hours to airport include wait for van to leave time, 2 hours before flight leaves.......or you have extra time to eat or in case of delays. You could actually leave at 7, but one never knows what one faces on that trek. Have southwest take you, it makes life easier, even though a bit more expensive.

how much they would charge you though if you take a van or hire a van instead of asking the hotel to arrange your transfer? i might be flying from Manila to Kalibo going to boracay but i want to know what is the usual amount they charge people taking a bus or a van from Kalibo to Caticlan port and vice versa. thanks

I haven%26#39;t taken that route for a while but I think it%26#39;s around P150 in the minivan.
