Suggestions on what to do and nice restaurants

Hi!

This is my second time to visit Boracay, first time was last 2003, and now I%26#39;m traveling with my wife and 6 year old daughter. What are the nice restaurants to go to and their price range? And what are the activities to do aside from swimming in the beach? We%26#39;re staying for 3 days. Thanks!

Hi,

Rob has some great suggestions, I would just like to add maybe pack a picnic and head off to Puka beach for the day, I love it there quite and unspoilt, stop at mt Luho on the way take in the view.

Resto%26#39;s there are so many to choose from, my favourite at the moment Bamboo lounge(chinese) staion 1 on the beach.

Enjoy your trip 3 days very short.

John

Thanks I%26#39;ll consider it!

...also try Aria for Italian food

...you wont be disappointed

Rob

Great suggestions guys! Thanks a lot! I think Aria was featured in one of the lifestyle shows here.. they have the wood fire oven which sounds enticing, I%26#39;d definitely want to try it.. Since I love seafoods, I think I%26#39;ll try the Escondido Crab house or at the ';palengke'; then we%26#39;ll try the jonas milkshakes, crazy crepes and the local chicken inasal, chori burger... sounds like a food fest! haha!

Shakeys Pizza will be open by now

You can have that anywhere! like McDonalds. It%26#39;s a shame when people would rather eat generic food than try the cuisine of the area they are visiting.

For good local food try Smoke Resto and Angel Wish in the new talipapa.

Aria is also a favorite, as well as Dos Mestizos, Lemoni Cafe, Manana, Cyma and True Food.

Courtyard Bistro in Bulabog - try it for a special valentines dinner.

love love love the seafood grill and bbq! quite a bit expensive when you eat along the beach front resto. its way cheaper at d talipapa. me and my husband had 1 barbeque steak, about 3 prawns, and a small blue marlin fish for about Php 1500 (paradise grill if i can remember). the next day we went in the market, paid cheap for the seafood and raw meats, have it cooked at sababi resto and for double the amount of the food and with the lovely sinigang, we paid half the price or even less.

buffet at Sea Breeze (Boracay Regency) is the best! even better than some 5 star hotels in Manila.

we went there last Christmas so i dont really know if the food prices are cheaper during off peak season. but dont forget to bring your sun block lotion coz i think thats the most expensive thing to buy there.
