Puerto Princessa: beach front and tours

Hi,

I need your help. Looking to schedule my PP vacation with my wife. We would like to do the following

1) Beachfront accomodation

that is not too expensive, and has good food, i saw a lot of hotels, and inns in PP, but none seem to be beach front. I%26#39;ve seen some in Sabang and where COCO LOCO is.

2) Is COCO LOCO still a nice place to stay? Is it true that its falling apart.

3) We want to snorkel, so looking for a nice beach, how much for snorkeling, rental of the bangka (if necessary)

4) I heard the Honda Bay tour is great, with buffet lunch and everything, can someone recommend this? How can I book this?

5) Underground river, will it really take a whole day, or can we do this half day and go snorkeling in Sabang the rest of the day?

6) Dos Palmas, is it really worth going up there, or save it for the next trip? Since we%26#39;re doing Sabang and Honda Bay?

A local resident may know better, but most Underground River tours tend to be in nine-seater or so mini-vans.

They tend to try to leave PP at around 0730. If there is not too long a queue at the Underground River, perhaps you could be on a boat for the 45 minute tour by 1030, but normally these tours have lunch at Sabang around 1300 (mine ran late and ours was at 1430!)

I suggest asking various tour companies when you are in PP. They seem pretty eager to please.
