Caticlan to Hotels

Hotels offer transfers from/to Caticlan to/from hotel and the rates per pax can go from P750 to over P1,000. How much would it cost to go on your own to say? Would it be inconvenient? Are boats and trikes available at times when there are flights from Manila to Caticlan?

you can always go by yourself to save some bucks. Tricycles, boats are always available as long there are incoming and outgoing flights. To save money you can walk from Caticlan airport to the jetty port. There are fees to be paid as Environmental Fee and Jetty Port fee. You can try to avoid paying them by posting as a local aklanon or boracaynon. And if you are in really good shape you can also walk from the Cagban Jetty Port on the southern end of boracay to your destination on the island.

--- from jetty port to hotel via tricycle --%26gt; 25/pax

the environmental fee and the terminal fee is a must even when you get transfer from hotels. its an add-on fee.

so the real cost for transfer only is 75/pax one way. round trip would only cost you 150/pax. max na yong 200/pax round trip.

and its very easy to get tricycles coz its everywhere upon landing at caticlan
