rent a van

Hi there. It seems that your website is quite informative. My family is scheduled to go there somewhere in Panglao this May. I do have 2 kids, a 2 yr old and a 7, then we are 3 adults. Is there a place where you recommend that the kids would really enjoy (aside of course of the tarsier sanctuary and bohol). Oh yeah, please advice me whats the best loboc cruise craft as my husband likes to eat good food (how much is the lunch with the cruise?). Can you also recommend us a van which we can rent for 2 days? We are actually staying 4 days and 3 nights. Thank you so much.

Hello! Whatever you do with your kids there, just dont miss out on the dolphin watching because its just a blast and so unforgettable to see the dolphins (many dolphins!) in the wild. they%26#39;re everywhere that you can%26#39;t get a clear camera shot of these beautiful creatures. when you get to Panglao..ask around for a boat that will take you to dolphin watching. the watch starts at around 5am because that%26#39;s when the dolphins swim towards somewhere to eat their breakfast. after 2 hours of dolphin tracking and watching, the boat will go to this spectacular choral reef for snorkling where all the characters in Nemo are present.. you just give them a tiny biscuit and the schools of fish start welcoming your short dive. the boat will then bring you to a white sandbar in the middle of the sea... with three coconut trees standing on the sand bar slash small small deserted island. postcard picture instant! ive been around the islands and bohol is great for the family and the islanders are aware its a source of income and so they protect their tourism industry consciously. Well. have fun!

My family and I (we have 2 kids, aged 5 and 2) went to Panglao, Bohol for the first time last month. Like you, we stayed for 4 days, 3 nights.

1. The kids enjoyed Alona beach the most. They played in the sand and built sandcastles, they swam in the clear waters and marveled at big, colorful starfishes just a few meters away from the shore.

The 5 year old enjoyed the tarsiers but the 2 year old was a little scared of them.

We also went to the magnificent Chocolate Hills but what the kids enjoyed most there was running up and down the pathway of the Viewing Hill near Carmen and eating local ice cream.

2. We also went dolphin watching and snorkeling. Our boat picked us up at Alona beach at around 5:30 am. It took around 45 minutes to reach the dolphin playground. We brought our 5-year old son and he enjoyed it. Although I thought that the boat%26#39;s engine was too loud for him. Since we stayed for around 1-1/2 hours watching dolphins, it got very hot, too. The snorkeling at Balicasag island was very enjoyable for us adults. We saw lots of colorful fishes. We didn%26#39;t bring our 2-year old daughter, and I%26#39;m very gald that we did not. I think that activity would have been too hot, uncomfortable, loud, and tiring for her.

3. We went to the Loboc River cruise. We did not really choose the boat we rode on as we were just guided to one when we arrived. The food was nothing spectacular -clam soup, seeweed salad, pork bbq, grilled tuna, fried chicken, banana, bread pudding, softdrinks, you get the idea. But even if the food was ordinary, the river cruise itself was pleasant and relaxing. We paid Php 250/adult (the kids got in for free).

4. We rented a van (Pajero) for one day to pick us up from the airport, bring us to our resort (www.alonaland.ch) and tour us--we paid Php3,000. When it was time to go back to manila, we asked to be picked up again from our resort, have a short stopover at a pasalubong center, and then bring us to the airport--we paid P600.

Kuya mer is the owner/driver of the van. Celphone # +639208191510. He was very dependable.
