Manila Airport

I arrive in the morning at Terminal 3 at the Manila Airport - late in the afternoon I am flying to Kalibo from Terminal Two. What is the safest, most reliable way to get from Terminal 3 to 2?

Manila Airport

airport taxi.

Manila Airport

are there no ';official'; Shuttle buses?

Official airport buses now there is a novel thought for Ninoy Aquino Airport!

Somebody said there were some official yellow taxis. Is that the case right now? And are they cheaper that the %26#39;airport limousines%26#39;?

no such thing as airport shuttle. the two airports are not that far apart but impossible to walk from one to the other. hail a cab, but make sure to have the meter on. if you are a foreigner, they will try every means in the book to rip you off. cab, meter, YOU make sure you look at the signs too, because it is not far from where you will be landing, and you%26#39;ll be fine.

I read something about red and yellow cabs that cost a touch more, but you pre pay, is that true, and would that be more secure?

you don%26#39;t have to pay anything more and find anything that is more secure or pay less. the two airports are very close. you are safer to get on a METERED cab, be FIRM, and tell them NAIA 3 airport. If they want to trick you, they will. So be firm.

ksuter,

I mean, tell them you are going to NAIA 2. There should be signs so be wise enough to look to where he is going.

I guess no one here has used ';that'; free transfer shuttle yet. Last November, while waiting for my car after arriving on a Philippine Airlines flight, I saw a small bus picking up passengers from terminal 2 for transfer to terminal 3.

So was surprised that no one here has used it yet. I tried to look for information about it and here%26#39;s what i found....

Ihave landed at both terminal 3 and 2 and there is a shuttle bus from?to both terminals as well to terminal 1.Cost when i took bus was 20 P in November 2008.Only problem was in morning had to wait almost 40 minutes for bus to leave terminal 3 to go to terminal 1..not fast. Just ask at info desk where shuttle bus departs from and get on CORRECT bus, I asked 3 times to make sure i was on correct one.best of luck

ksuter, it will be less than $3 and alot less headache even if you use the most expensive taxi around. If you werent in a rush to catch a flight, the other options might be fine. Even if they overstate the price, you are talking about a dollar or so.

True, however, the airport taxis are set price and they will quote you it before you embark (make sure they do).
