You may visit Banawe and Sagada. Once there, hire a local (native) Ifugao and Igorot guides who may introduce you to their communities.

We will spend time in Banawe and Sagada. tks

We are planning to stay around 10 days aorund Banawa Sagada, Mt Pinatubo, San Fernando ( holy friday) and one day to san fernando (beach) before returning to manille

Those San Fernanda beaches- worth the trip ?

We also have ten more days to planned . We are really undecided about goind to Palawan and Mindoro or visit some island in Visayas.

We are not planning to visit southern Luzon, unless ... we change our mind.

We will have to take the plane to cover distance. Their is to much to see in a short period of time. Please help us find a good itinery with very beatifull beaches, beach front restaurant, fun, volcano, river, kayaking, caves, trecking, culture) We want to avoid seing McDonalds as much as we can.

tks -

do not miss palawan, that%26#39;s for sure. bohol is also pretty famous if you are willing to cut short your northern luzon visit. speaking of northern luzon, pagudpud and ilocos is also famous. don%26#39;t think there%26#39;s anything special in the area of san fernando / pampanga.

hello!

I suggest you check this blog %26lt;www.ivanhenares.com%26gt; as it has very descriptive coverage of almost all the islands.

It%26#39;ll help you decide which places to go, etc.

If you have the additional ten days then you can mostly cover the highpoints of the Visayas islands. My suggestion is to fly to Cebu, hop over to Bohol, back to Cebu then fly to Iloilo. From Iloilo you can take a bus to Boracay/Caticlan then can fly back to Manila. If you pick an early flight out of Caticlan then you can still fly out to Palawan.

Most of Luzon%26#39;s beaches are volcanic (a.k.a. black sand) and if you prefer white then go to Visayas.

hope this helps.

In addition to what other posters have suggested, I highly recommend Hundred Islands National Park in Pangasinan province. It is a few hours out of the way between Manila and Banaue, northwest along the coast from Lingayen. You%26#39;ll need to catch a boat or ferry in Lucap -- plan on leaving at dawn and spending the day. Especially on a weekday, you may find some real seclusion. There are at least dozens in not 100 volcanic islands ranging from the size of a toadstool to more than half km. A few have nice beaches with swimming areas. Snorkeling and diving are wonderful -- coral reefs and lots of beautiful fishes. Only a couple of the islands have any services at all -- pack a picnic lunch, and pack out your own trash.

Sorry I don%26#39;t have any name for guides/boats or Lucap hotels -- father-in-law makes the arrangements for us. Suggest you google for more info and photos.
