I suggest you check this forum..search Zest Air and read about their crash landing: poor customer is service should be the least of your concerns with them.

Manila-Catlican,PAL or Air Philippines Or Zest?

flew here for the first time last week with PAL express. nice flight good times and reasonable price and friendly staff

I had the same question but the guys are correct. Just type what you need to know in the search box and you%26#39;ll find previous posts which hopefully will answer your questions. For what its worth I eventually chose PAL. Haven%26#39;t been yet so have no other ibfo than that.

xxanty,

...leftover is correct read the posts regarding Zest Air before booking

Contrary to others posting on this thread, I don%26#39;t consider the recent Zest Air short landing at Caticlan as sufficient reason to either bad-mouth or to avoid the airline. I flew on Zest Air in December and, aside from the cramped seating on the MA60 aircraft, I thought they were OK. I had minimal problems with the online booking, and the flight was fine except for the made-for-midgets passenger seating. Find them at http://www.asianspirit.com and http?www.zestar.com.ph

If you are booking online, I would advise you to avoid Air Philippines. A few days ago I booked a Manila-Caticlan ticket with them online. The booking process was smooth, but they sent me an email which said: ';Note: Your reservations request with details shown below has been forwarded to our Reservations Department. An E-mail will be sent to you within the next business day to confirm your booking. In case you fail to receive the reservation/booking confirmation, please check your bulk mailbox.'; Since then, I have not heard from them. I presume that their reservation process did not book the seat and that they didn%26#39;t consider it important to notify me of that. Find them at http://www.airphils.com/

I booked seats on PAL Express recently and had a good flight with them. See them at http://www.palexpressair.com/

I haven%26#39;t flown SeAir (www.flyseair.com) or Cebu Pacific (http://www.cebupacificair.com/) into Caticlan and cannot comment from personal experience. SeAir seems to be markedly more expensive than the competition, but friends who have flown with them were satisfied.

Does anyone know WHY the Zest Air crash happened? Bad weather? Pilot error? Or technical problems?

i%26#39;ve booked a flight from zestair website but i%26#39;ve received no confirmation nor emails from them. whats going on?

At the risk of sounding rude, how would we know?

question goes out to those who have had encountered the same problem. THANKS.

pilot error, they hit a lip or a small wall at end of runaway. They came in and put down too soon. Yeah, they sound safe to me. A crash of any kinds is a warning to stay clear of a carrier, do you want to wait for the next crash that you could be on.
