Seawind probably has the edge, and is on a much nicer stretch of the beach.
If I had to pick a personal favourite though, I%26#39;d choose to stay at Fridays, for the location, food and service.

What about Discovery Shores? I%26#39;ve heard that is the nicest if you%26#39;re looking for higher end.

Discovery Shores is luxurious but doesn%26#39;t appeal to all, as it%26#39;s boxy, city style design is at odds with the island cosy ambiance, as well as the thumping music ruining the sunset mood.
And Fridays food is still arguably the best.
The question was Seawind or Le Soleil for exciting beach vacation and the answer is: Seawind with its huge and wide beachfront, the rooms set back more than the required 25 + 5 meters, but 60 meters plus, original Filipino (Visayas)charme and hospitality and as well trnaquility. Le Soleil is also not bad, but rather small and in an area with lots of action, resp. shops, massage, bars, restaurants, etc.
