Puerto Pension or Audissie Pension or Casa Linda

Hi everyone,

I%26#39;ll be visiting Palawan this this coming March. I%26#39;m choosing between three pension houses: Puerto Pension, Audissie Pension and Casa Linda.

Putting price aside (since their rates are in the same range), which would you recommend in terms of overall value? Like room ambiance, view, service, cleanliness, extra perks, food, distance, etc.

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Puerto Pension or Audissie Pension or Casa Linda

hi! my family and i stayed at puerto pension for 5d4n last september 2006. they actually have a website but i can%26#39;t seem to find it right now. anyway, i was really surprised at how good the ambience and overall design of the place were. the rooms and balconies are native-style but not the rustic-native type. the place is actually very clean and polished. although the rooms were not very big, the little details like lamps, shell curtains, balcony tables and high chairs are beautiful and well-coordinated. from the balcony of the rooms in the upper floor, there%26#39;s actually a view of the bay. but their roofdeck restaurant is the best. 180-degree view of the bay, good seats/tables, beautiful room decor. perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset.

with regards to food, service and distance: the food is ok but if you want more choices, just take a trike to rizal avenue where all the restaurants are. the hotel is just a block away (or two blocks?) from rizal ave. which means it%26#39;s very much within the center of things. service is great, the hotel staff is very warm and accomodating.

before we checked into puerto pension, i actually checked out audissie%26#39;s rooms first. although a room in puerto pension is more expensive by around P150, the overall ambiance and design of puerto pension won me over.=)

Puerto Pension or Audissie Pension or Casa Linda

www.pal-onl.com/pension is the website for Puerto Pension, and I will also be trying out this pension house during my March trip.

Why bother choosing between those 3 pension houses while theres a lot of pensions; inns in palawan than those 3. Actually there are several newly built and same price as those. Just take a look of the list of accomodations for palawan Inns; Bed and breakfast ull see a lot of choices. those 3 inns have different prices; accomodation and location. Take a look at the list youll find more.

Well for me all these 3 are ok. Audissie and Puerto Pension are located on the same street and close to each other while casa linda is in rizal avenue. Its up to u,

For me its either Casa lina or its near neighbour Pagdyon Inn.

Prices are similar, but the location is much better. They just 2 mins walk away from some of the best restaurants in town such as Kinabutz, Kahlui, and Semendolia. All of which offer excellent seafood at very reasonable prices.

Puerto Princessa is a very small town, it%26#39;s very easy to get around either by walking or tricycle taxi, the harder part is finding food that is prepared to a standard rather than to the cheapest price possible, unless of course you want local burgers with rice.

Unfortunately Puerto does lack good beaches nearby, you will need to travel north for the best beaches. Sabang, Port Barton and El Nido are top of the list - you can take a day trip to the islands in Honda Bay, good for swimming and snorkelling, but no other tourist facilities unless you wish to stay at Dos Palmos - very high-end.

I was in palawan for sometime and theres so many accomodations i found. There are lots of places to go also. Whatever inn you choose is ok since palawan is a small town and everything is near to each other Theres so many pension houses and inn in palawan. . And if u want to go on a tour u can ride public transportation going to the beach or go wherever u want. You can also check other inns and hotels theres a lot more to choose from.
