staying at polomolok

Does anybody know if there is reasonable accommodation at polomolok ? I cant seem to find a site that indicates this. Thanks Roger

staying at polomolok

Hello Roger

Never been there but based on my travels around the Philippines, expect the place to have pensione house accommodation. A pensione house is a hotel without the frills. Many pensione houses have a room with a bed and a fan and have a shared bathroom. Some provide more facilities.

Ask the girl you are going to meet, she will know.

I read elswhere that you haven%26#39;t met yet but she is already asking for money. Many scammers aren%26#39;t where they say they are or aren%26#39;t the sex they say they are. Asking about accommodation, travel times, population and other location questions will not prove a sammer but might help to indicate if she is a scammer or not.

polomolok is a very small place and well, i can say polomolok is all pineapple plantation. i dunno if they would have any pension house/hotel/inns. your best bet will be in general santos which is just 30-45 mins away. there aren%26#39;t much choices in gensan too but at least there will be few of these available.

as big jim has suggested, you can ask the girl for recommendations. i can also suggest that you first book your first few nights in gensan then you can go to polomolok with the girl and try to feel and see the place.

Ghankyou Tambaylan for your advice . I appreciate your message . Roger

HiJim,,

Polomolok is a very small town, this place is more on farm area and has a small population. This is where the ';DOLE'; products manufactured and exported all over the world. There%26#39;s no hotel in there. The best thing you can do is to stay at Royale Hotel in Gen San. (I can only recommend this hotel) you can then travel to Polomolok during day time to meet up your girl%26#39;s family. it%26#39;s about 25mins away from the city then back by the afternoon for your pint, hot bath or entertianments and a comfy bed. I can tell you that because Im also from GenSan and I have a place in there where we stayed whenever I visited my mom. Not from the airport called uhaw. Am loving this place if I feel like having fresh fruits, vegs, fishes or just going to the Tropicana Beach Resorts. And if had enough I go back to manila where I also bought a condominium.

My partner, my daughter and I are travelling again this summer to GenSan, by July next year. We are currently based in Dubai so will see you around. My partner is British by the way!.

Good Luck to you!

Hey Roger, you%26#39;ve probably already made your holiday trip. In case you have not, yes, there are a couple of guest houses in Polomolok, especially nearer Kalsangi, which is the fruit processing center. As everybody else says, it would be easier %26amp; just as convenient, tho, to stay in General Santos. Check out http://www.tunadive.com/index2.html for something a bit more interesting than the hotels. Its not Apo Reef diving, but it still has the unspoiled beach character and atmosphere that Boracay lost 25 years ago.

Hello roger,

How are you? Hope everything%26#39;s fine. i read your message here and proud to say that i%26#39;m filipina im living in general santos and polomolok is very near in our place it takes only 30 minutes in going there. I%26#39;m so happy that you have plan to visit philippines. Anyway, i can suggest to you that try to visit the Durian Farm that is along the highway only of polomolok going to marbel. This is a highly reccomended to you. And im pretty sure that the price is very reasonable because you can choose the room from nice to average if im not mistaken its only less than 20 dollars per day but you can negotiate with them if you will stay for longer. I can offer you also the native house where you can stay for a reasonable accomodation what is the most important is your safe there and you will appreciate im sure the farm as well. So try to visit Durian Farm if you dont like it... i can reccomend you also the other hotel near the polomolok terminal but i forgotten the name. Don%26#39;t worry just explore the beauty of the polomolok you can go directly to the police station or just ask for a tricycle driver to guide you in sending them and just pay a minimum fare with them. Police station can help you also to be safe there.

Welcome to the philippines sir.!

Mabuhay.

yours,

marie
