Cheap El Nido Accomodation

Hi! We are planning to go to el nido this summer. We are looking for a room or probably a house for rent which can accomodate 16 adults and 10 kids. How true that there is scheduled power/electric interruption in the whole town of el nido? Thanks.

Yes, power outages occur every day in El Nido, and I recall its from around 10am till 6pm.

The town%26#39;s electric schedule 12:00nn to 4:00pm, then 6:00pm to 6:00am again. So there is power in El Nido for 16 hours of the day. I think this is ok though since you%26#39;ll probably be island-hopping anyway in the morning and it%26#39;s easy to kill a couple hours in the afternoon.

There are lots of cheap places to stay, but only a few that will have enough rooms to accommodate ALL of your group. If that%26#39;s your plan, you%26#39;ll wanna reserve way ahead.

These are the only affordable places I can think of with enough rooms for 26pax. Beachfront: Marina Garden, Lally and Abet, and Rico%26#39;s. In town: Four Seasons and Cliffside Cottages. Farther in town: Greenview Resort.

Electricity in El Nido is indeed rationed and schedule depends on which zone your hotel / cottage is in. However, most accomodations now have their own generator to make guests more comfortable.

Do you have a specific date in mind for your trip? How many days do you intend to stay?

I don%26#39;t know of any house for rent in el nido. Usually only rooms or cottages which can accomodate 2-3 pax per room.

Since you are quite a party, I suggest you book in advance.

Hi, I just stayed in Greenviews EL Nido. For such a group you would have to book soon I%26#39;m sure. However with kids the beach in town isn%26#39;t as nice and where Greenview is (about 2km-ish out) looks cleaner and has more open space. Think they have some family rooms...
