Could someone tell me if the 15kilogram weigh allowed for baggage is for checked baggage only or does it also include carryon bags?

It would be checked baggage only,

Carry on baggage is usually 7kg

If you would like to have up to 20kg in your checked baggage you can.

If your flying with Cebu Pacific you can add another 5kg when booking at a cost of about 358 peso i think (you can wait till you get to the airport but they%26#39;ll charge you more...double i think)

Or if your going with Philippine Airline, select the ';Economy Fiesta'; fare which allows 20kg checked baggage... the ';EconoLight'; fares are 15kg

Previosely I have never tried to book online with the regional airlines due to reports that the web sites would not complete or accept foreign credit card information.

I had this same experience while trying to book PAL. It would not go through after all the information was entered. However no such problem with Cebu Pacific. I was able to increase my luggage to 20 kilogram at what they claim is a 20% savings from the rate charged at the airport. Credit card information was accepted the first time and comfirmation was received withing 15 minutes.

Now if the damn plane in no more then 1 hour from the scheduled flight time I will be happy.

What type of card you using? I recently booked flights with both CEB and PAL using a visa no problem.... bit my cousin tried CEB with his mastercard and it didn%26#39;t work....weird

I have no idea what the problem is as I was using a Mastercharge. It did not work (twice) for PAL but sailed thru when booking with CEB.
