Headhunters in Tinglayen

My husband and I would love to visit the village of Tinglayen and discover the headhunters and their way of life. We%26#39;re avid photographers so we would also like to take some photos of them doing their daily chores and rituals.

Has anyone did this before? Is it safe enough to do this? We%26#39;re of course planning to hire a guide, and stay in either the Riverside Inn or the Sleeping Beauty Inn for 2 nights then trek around the area.

If anyone has already done this before, kindly share your experiences please. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
