trip to banaue

I just did this same itinerary. We went from the airport and took an overnight bus to Baguio City, we stayed at Tam Awan village in one of the huts - up to you, there are plenty of hotel options. If you have time ask around for Eves Garden - its run by a family, they are a completely organic restaurant in the mountains - food and view were amazing but you need to call ahead and they dont advertise...

Stop by the department of tourism in Baguio - they can give you an efficient itinerary and set you up with what to see, you can just ask a taxi to take you there. They will give info on Sagada and Banaue as well.

From Baguio we took a morning bus to Sagada - our favorite part of the trip! In Sagada there is great hiking and caves to explore - hire a guide for the cave, its an amazing experience. The guides are very cheap and its well worth it to take them hiking with you as well. If you like an adventure dont take the short cut through the cave - go the long way and you will be amazed! Eat at Log Cabin for dinner. St. Josephs Inn was a good place to stay and eat.

From Sagada take a jeepney to Bontoc to get a bus to Banaue - very easy to coordinate. In Banaue you can take a look at the view points of the rice terraces, and if you have time to stay there you can hike out to one of the villages. Sagada and Banaue have limited hotels so its pretty easy to find something and from what I hear they never are fully booked so you can make arrangements when you get there.

From Banaue we took an overnight bus back to Manila. A lot of time on the bus but I thought it was well worth it!

hi miyaka

there a lot of interesting place in banaue like the

batad rice terrace bangaan,ujah,hapao,view point,museum

you can ride the bus from manila to banaue or manila via baguio to sagada bontoc banaue or sometimes other people hire a private van to more convinient you can stop any time if you see nice view for photo to strecht your legs for a while, althought its quiet expensive. You can choose alot of hotel around the area.

We want to go to Banaaue.

But i have heard there are no good hotel.

How is Banaue hotel?

How many night i can stay the best in this area?

How to come from Manila to this place?

With best regards,

hans Gaillard
