How to get from Baguio to Banaue?

We highly recommend 8008 Tours %26amp; Transport for travel services. They%26#39;re based in Manila but they did drive us to Banaue then Baguio. Outstanding, competent %26amp; friendly transportation. If they can%26#39;t help you, they might have excellent recommendations for you.

Here%26#39;s a link to a post where we recommend them, w/ their phone number (the link is to the Manila forums but I had the URL shrunk for posting):

How to get from Baguio to Banaue?

happy new year!

if its not too late.....

in baguio, take either the ohayami bus or the autobus. both buses can be found along the governor pack road-just below SM.

however, going from banaue to vigan is a bit tricky. you can do any of the following:

1. return to baguio and from baguio, take a bus to vigan.

2. go to tuguegarao city via bagabag and from there take a bus or a jeep to santiago city and from santiago city, go to tuguegarao city. from tuguegarao city, take any of the buses going to ilocos region.

3. go to bontoc. from bontoc, take the jeepney going to cervantes. from cervantes either take a jeepney going to tagudin or a bus going to san fernando, la union. either way, you can take a bus going to vigan from both tagudin or la union.

hope this helps.

Hi i-churyaa,

its not late to great Happy new year. Thanks

this will be our plan. what do you think about this plan?

march 11 - Manila - Banaue Overnite

March 12 - Banaue overnite

march 13 - Banaue - Baguio Overnite

march 14 - Baguio - Vigan overnite

march 15 - Vigan overnite

march 16 - Vigan - Manila

Hi Eyen,

Your proposed itinerary will have you resting at the bus travel by night. It means you have avoided staying in hotels for a rest. It is a very tiring trip. That itinerary is ok if you take the bus. But it is not possible if you are hiring a van. You will not like a sleepy driver. He needs to sleep.

A day in Banaue is not enough to visit the nice places. I suggest you take an overnight stay in Banaue and Vigan after long hours of travelling. I have that same itinerary but we slept over in Vigan, Tuguegarao and Banaue.

Baguio City is ok to be travelled in a day.

Hi naayatunay,

march 11 - a.m. Manila - Banaue we will arrvive there aound afternoon then we can have also some tour(Overnite in Banaue Hotel )

March 12 - (still in Banaue) (overnite in Banaue)

march 13 - a.m. Banaue - Baguio (Overnite in Baguio)

march 14 - a.m. Baguio - Vigan (overnite in Vigan)

march 15 - still in Vigan %26amp; overnite there

march 16 - a.m. Vigan - Manila

You can also advice me... Did you just drive there with the bus? or did you went with your own car? I need more information what is the best way to go there. If bus i need also there schedules. I hope you can help me too. Hope to hear you soon

Eyen

There are three buslines routing Banaue.

Ohayami, KMS, and Dangwa Bus

The night schedules leave at 7:00pm and 8:00pm.

I traveled via the Tuguegarao/Isabela route by private car. This is a longer trip but you will have side trips to patpat bridge, laoag and view the Marcos Shrine. You can also drop by at Pagudpud beach and resorts. I think this route will add 1 day more or your trip and best traveled by an experience tour guide/driver.

It is 8 hours Baguio City to Banaue. You usually reach Banaue 4am. But there is no problem because there are already many tricycles you can ride to your hotel. There are already many hotels in Banaue, but i still prefer the bit creeky and echoey Banaue Hotel. I enjoyed the view down the mountain from the restaurant. I have not tried the pool, it was not in a cold morning. The wide living room and the grand staircase added to my amazement...but how i wish they%26#39;d light the huge fireplace at night.

It is more time saving to travel Banaue to with your own service if you have limited time. There are not much cars to hire to bring you quick to the must see sites of Bangaan and Hongduan Village. I think this was the reason I miss to visit this places. You must stay at least two days in Banaue to be able to see more of the places.

I was only able to make it at the viewpoint, and lucky to get a seconds peep at the mountains peak...it was cloudy on an August month

And i love to go back again...so my dear if you want a guide..i will gladly

Goodluck!!

By the way i forgot to mention : Baguio City to Banaue is P380.00 bus fare..Baguio to Vigan is around P380.00 also.

Partas and Philippine Rabbit Bus route to Vigan but also on an irregular trip...

So i recommend that from Manila, go straight to Vigan and from Vigan go to Baguio (drop by to say hello to me) then go Banaue

I have also inquired from other travel tours agency,

3days/2night for Banaue and Sagada cost P7000.00/head. This is a van/coaster tour. But must be scheduled to fill the capacity of the van/coaster.

Hi,

i found somebody who can drive us with car from Manila to Baguio, Banaue and Vigan for only 15,000. Its really Cheap.... btw. thanks.

Eyen

Hi! I know this post is about a year old. But Eyen, I%26#39;d like to know where you found the comppany or that someone who drove you from Banaue to Vigan? I%26#39;m planning a trip this coming May (Banaue, Batad, Sagada, Vigan, and Pagudpud) and we (a party of 4) will be needing transportation to go around. Thank you in advance.
