Clark to Manila International

I have a quick question, I arrive at clark airport at 11:30am with just carry-on luggage, I need to get to Manila international terminal 2 for 4:00 pm. Is this possible?? whats fastest way? Taxi?

can I pre-arrange something?

Clark to Manila International

It%26#39;s possible. You can pre arrange your airport pick up at www.margarita-station.com and click on airport pickup.

There is also a taxi desk at the arrival area or if you want to take the Philtranco bus, you can buy a ticket as soon as you clear through Customs at the Philtranco desk also at the arrival area. The Philtranco shuttle services mainly the Air Asia passengers. You get off at the Pasay Terminal which will cost you 350 Pesos and then you can take the Cab to Terminal 2.

You will be out of the arrival area in 30 minutes. The trip from Clark to Manila will take about 2 hours.

so I shouldn%26#39;t stress to much? It can be done? Flights are already booked, i have no choice now. You say 2hrs to manila, what about NAIA?

Hi siksnot,

Rest assured you have nothing to be stressed about. You have more than ample time. Have a safe and pleasant journey.

I was just in Manila yesterday and the trip from Clark to Manila took 30 minutes more than the usual because of some construction work on EDSA for the MRT extension.

Hello there, I have a similar situation so I thought I%26#39;d post it here rather than starting a new thread...

I%26#39;m planning a trip for about 8-10 people, first time to Philippines. We%26#39;re travelling from Kuala Lumpur/KL to Boracay (Caticlan), but we%26#39;ll need to have a connecting flight either at Manila Aiport/NAIA or Clark Airport/DMIA.

To minimize airfare %26amp; connecting time, we plan to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Clark Airport/DMIA, then make our way to Manila Aiport/NAIA and fly to Caticlan.

But I%26#39;m not sure if this is workable... how far apart are these 2 airports. It%26#39;s mentioned here 2 hours... should I expect traffic jam? How much time apart should my flights be in order for us to catch the connecting?

How long will the journey take via the Philtranco bus as compared to taxi/minivan? What are the costs?

We%26#39;re doing this to avoid having to stay in Clark an extra night, as the connecting flight is only available the next morning.

Is it even advisable to attempt this or should we just stay in Clark and for the next day%26#39;s flight to Caticlan?

Thanks so much for your help!

if your planning to make a connecting flight from clark to manila airport..

you make an allowance of 6hours of your flights.

1hour-going outside of clark

2-3hours-going to manila airport

2hours - check-in allowance.

I would just stay in Angeles City, that is where the Clark Airfield is located. There is a lot of hotels and bars on Fields Avenue which you can use.

One bus I was on took almost 4 hours between Angeles and Manila, it was during a holiday period plus construction - no toilet on the bus either!

Map of Angeles:

Have you checked the weight allowances for the flights that you may use to get to Clark? Some airlines have reduced weights on check in bags. Some travelers coming in on big airlines and switching to a smaller plane end up paying extra for the weight/size differences.

Enjoy your stay in the Philippines.

It would be better to just stay overnight in Clark/Angeles City area and just leave for Boracay via Clark again the next day. This way, there will be less worries about travel time to Manila which may be unpredictable nowadays due to some MRT construction.

Just enjoy your afternoon around Angeles City where there is an SM Mall (Clark) where you can exchange more currency for your trip to Boracay, shop at the different stores, buy groceries and toiletries and enjoy the food at the various food outlets around the mall.

At night, you can enjoy the bars along Fields Avenue. go to www.margarita-station.com for hotel listings.

thank you all for your advice

based on the info given, i%26#39;ve decided to just stay put in one airport....

likely that i%26#39;ll travel with cebu pacific air, and connect at Manila Aiport, because they offer the most convenient connection....

although i%26#39;ve yet to really decide for sure because i%26#39;ve heard not so good comments about this airline

so far... my only observation is that their airfare is rather expensive due to the fuel surcharge that%26#39;s still being imposed....

AirAsia has scrapped this practice for about 2 months now...

i%26#39;m looking forward to my first trip to the philippines and perhaps i%26#39;ll have the chance to visit clark/manila the next time

this time...it%26#39;ll just be boracay!
