villa de oro or boracay courtyard???

both are really cheap but i want a beachfront that is close to the nighlife as well?... help me pls!!

have you been to any of these two, which one is better??

villa de oro or boracay courtyard???

I%26#39;d pick nearby El Centro over the other two. But get a non-beachfront room to avoid noise from live music at Charlhs Bar. Villa de Oro is too noisy for my taste with loud disco at sunset.

Try looking up some info on Boracay Beach Chalets, Bans Beach Resort and Tirol %26amp; Tirol Resort which are similar style but slightly better located.

villa de oro or boracay courtyard???

Do not Stay At Villa De oro. especially if you are filipino Citizen, staff here do not prioritize filipino, as if ther aren%26#39;t one they prefer international visitors..Nothing much interested on this resort, it is not true that there is a WIFI there. NO Refrigerator, No Mini Tables for your things No hanger for your Clothes, People are so annoying, Snobbish! A single request will shout at you, i experienced this only yesterdar. SO beware, enough reason for us to move to other beach resort.. value your money, please!!

urbabygirl,

..I am sorry that you had such a bad experience at Villa de Oro

..your multiple posts copied across three seperate subject posts certainly attest to your disappointment

...it sounds like a ';back to the basics'; tour is in order at villa de oro...

Rob

rob,

.... and you hear only half of the story.

edwinic

...every post here tells only half a story

..most over the top behaviour....anger to rage... only occurs under extraordinary circumstances

...most ordinary people dont multiple post

...any I am somewhat concerned about the priority by nationality part of the previous post(and I believe you called the poster on that)....everone should expect equal treatment nothing more

...that being said I have often observed favoritism usually towards foriegn visitors...

...overall I find most Filipinos to be exceedingly polite

...of course there are a small minority of people everywhere who are not polite

...the truth is probably somewhere in the middle

..perhaps someone from the hotel will post a reply

..otherwise I will give the recent poster the benifit of the doubt because as I pointed out earlier it really takes a lot to make someone that mad

Rob

rob,

5 posts and nothing but rage against Villa de Oro. And in that state, the mind work irrationaly.

I been around the place in May 08 and one thing I disliked is the continued and noticeable music blarring all day. I also wonder why they have to put those colourful flags infront of their establishment.

But of course, to some, music is soothing and colorful flags suggest festive mood.

Overly loud thumping disco music is rarely soothing, especially when they are trying to attract people to have a meal there. Not a nice ambiance.
