hi...anyone have any idea on my prob?...we%26#39;re making our reservations through the bank..questions r:

1. how do we know it really is the hotel owner we%26#39;re transacting with?am afraid to be fooled...

2. what else do i need b4 and after making the deposits...

I have done reservation through bank to a couple of hotels (deparis and tonglen) in the past.

but prior to that several calls were made and the bank account numbers were given by mails, sms and by phone.

When you go to your bank, you can ask also verify who owns the account.

Of course, I happen to deal direct to hotel sales staff, not travel agencies.

If the hotel is ripping people off you would know it on this website I would think, but if you use a travel agent, use a credit card. Also, dont pay hotels that no one else ever heard of.

actually this is my 2nd time n boracay...first one last oct 2007 with my other half and we didnt make reservations since it was low season..this time am travelling with my whole family with 3 kids along with my first timers mom and brother...i%26#39;d like them to have a really great time..we%26#39;d like to reserve for a family-run hotel in station 1..is my decision right?it%26#39;s quite expensive,you know, bringing the whole family..LOL...

also where trying for an early reservation since i know its high season and afraid won%26#39;t make to any decent place to sleep in..tnx.

Yes it can be expensive in high season, but also remember you are choosing to stay in the most expensive area. You could probably save half by not staying in st 1.
