Honda Bay

Palnning a short trip to PP in July. I have a full day to do the underground river tour.

I was thinking of doing a Honda bay island hopping tour the next day and fly to Cebu in the evening by PAL.

Now, as I can fly Cebu Pacific for about 1/3 the price at midday, I am wondering whether to skip the Honda Bay tour. I am not into snorkelling and not interested in spending hours on the beach. I do however like to travel in boats to see small islands and also to walk around small islands.

I am now considering taking a tricycle to the pier very early around 6.30 am and tour the bay and maybe stop at one island and be back at 11 am in PP.

I know boats can be hired for the day for arouns 1500 PHP, but will I be able to hire one for 3 hours or so - maybe for a half-day rate?
